This isnt neccesarily a fansite. Im not one of those productive people that spends hours a day scouring the internet for information and pictures or has a team of people doing so. Its just me and yes I am a fan but I created this blog because it was getting ridiculous texting my friends every day about something I found out about Kathleen Hanna or Adam Horovitz. Now if they want to know they can just look at this blog and others can benifit from it too.

Some background info on me. Ive been a Beastie Boys fan since 1998. I want to make it really clear I love ALL members of the Beastie Boys (Listening to Mix Masters Mike radio show right now!) I just love one (Adam Adrock Horovitz) in a different way than the others. I think it happened when I saw him in “No Sleep till Brooklyn.” Ive been a sucker for guys in baseball caps tight Tshirts and tight fitting jeans ever since…I dont think Adrock should get all the spotlight and it would break my heart if he went solo, though I do love his side projects especially BS 2000. So I want it known that I love the Beastie Boys for their music and not just Adrock and I respect and love Adrock as a musician and artist and love him for more than just his really really good looks.

I first saw Kathleen Hanna around the same time but I didn’t know who she was but she was the coolest woman on the face of the earth to me. Seriously, that mystery girl in the Sonic Youth video dancing like she did, just completely free their was nothing cooler to me. Fast forward to 2005 I thankfully discovered Bikini Kill and Youtube and finally made the connection to who that girl was in the video. Its difficult for me to explain how much Kathleen Hanna and her music mean to me. She is my favorite writer, musician, singer, dancer, beat maker, artist, activist, feminist…just everything. So imagine my reaction a year later when I was on her Wikipedia and I found she got married to Beastie Boy Adam Horovitz! Well Ill tell you my first thought was “She married my boyfriend!” Not my proudest moment…But it wasnt outrage or jealously it was immense happiness. My two favorite people in the world found each other and well life just cant get any better than that.

Here we are on this blog that may get updated several times a day or just once a day or even once a month. Basically anytime I find something cool about Kathleen Hanna or Adam Horovitz or both together Ill post it here. I most likely will on several occassions mention how incredibly goregous and sexy Kathleen Hanna is and the same for Adam Horovitz I mean absolutely no disrespect I respect them as artists and for their work but…they are extremely hot and when theyre together honestly I get overwhelmed by just how goregous they are. So everything on this blog is meant in fun and those posts especially should not be taken too seriously.
